Employers Are Realizing The Benefits Of Barter

Employers Throughout The Region Are Utilizing Barter For Employee Benefit Packages
(Bristol, CT) -- As the books close on 2008 and the new year begins, more and more employers of all sizes and types are discovering the benefits of barter to supplement corporate employee benefit packages. Barter Business Unlimited experienced tremendous growth in the areas of dental and health, recreational and vacation packages as many regional employers, saved their cash reserves, and utilized barter to offer new perks to employees.

''I'm now offering incentives to my employees that I thought I could never afford, such as vacation getaways and dental coverage'', explained Image Works, Vernon President Jeffrey Cohen, ''Because of the savings and benefits of barter exchange, I even arranged for a corporate retreat this coming Spring'', said Cohen.

According to Debbie Lombardi, president of BBU Barter, 2008 was an ''eye-opening year'' for many employers that did meet their sales and budget goals. However, barter let many of these employers remain competitive and allowed many of them to expand their client base. ''In so many cases, we saw employers finding new ways to use the barter exchange system to stretch their bottom line. We even had one client that saved nearly all of their printing expenses for 2008 by going to printing companies that are members of BBU Barter'', said Lombardi.
